MAJOROS Aaron
CV
Áron Zsolt Majoros graduated at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture in 2008. He is a member of that new young sculptor generation of striking and sharp expression, who intend to create a new technical and contextual view within the framework of traditional sculpture and plastic art. In the spiritual centre of his ever organic, yet soft and stylistic sculpture there is the ephemeral human soul, which may or can never be materialised, and which once reveals then hides itself again. The sensuously elaborated fine materials of his sculptures and the transcendent contents culminating in these sculptures provide them with a nearly sacred aura. Beyond the thorough elaboration of the surface of those always three-dimensional works, around which one can go, Majoros is also very accurate in revealing and creating the invisible inside of the sculpture, in order to hide it again acting on an artistic decision. Majoros’ works could be found in several collections including the Elgiz Museum, Istanbul, the New Museum in Mexico and the Sorokin Collection (RU) – just to name a few.
