Annemarie Wright was born in the 19^th of July, 1979) is an English artist from Cambridge shire. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Print making.

Wright creates images of iconic figures out of hand written texts, always referring to the illustrated person.

She is best known for her portrait of Tony Blair created using the handwritten names of fallen British soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan. The web page for Wright's portrait of Stephen Fry received 8,000 hits in two hours after being mentioned by Fry on Twitter.

Wright has exhibited in numerous art shows worldwide since her career began, including the London Art Fair.

Her works can be found in the collections of Adele, Ernst & Young, John Bramwell (I am Kloot), Judy Cramer,

Hyatt Regency Churchill, Legal & General, Victoria Beckham, also in other private collections and public spaces, such as: The reception of Abbey Road Studios, Westminster tube station and Adee Phelan salon in Birmingham, among others.
